80% of the balance

Sell your Apple gift card for cash

We buy Apple gift cards at 80% of the balance, $10 to $2,000 per card, paid by PayPal or Cash App within 24 hours.

Apple gift cards are unusual in that a single card now covers both hardware and digital purchases — devices, accessories, App Store apps, subscriptions and iCloud storage all draw on the same balance. That breadth means an Apple card is genuinely useful to anyone inside the ecosystem, and genuinely useless to anyone who is not.

The unspent-balance pattern here splits in two. People in the ecosystem redeem the card to their Apple Account immediately and the balance quietly gets absorbed by subscriptions. People outside it — someone on Android who was given an Apple card, or someone who already has all the hardware they need — hold a card they have no route to spend. The second group is most of who sells to us.

As with Amazon, the important detail is directionality. Once an Apple gift card is redeemed to an Apple Account, the credit lives on that account and there is no supported way to withdraw it to a bank. An unredeemed card is a sellable object; a redeemed balance is locked. If you are holding a card or an unclaimed code and want cash, do not redeem it first.

Our rate is 80% of the verified balance, flat, with no tiering by amount. A $100 card pays $80 and a $500 card pays $400. Single cards from $10 to $2,000 are in scope. Partly used cards are fine, though in practice Apple cards tend to arrive either untouched or completely drained.

Apple gift cards are sold in fixed and variable denominations and are widely available in supermarkets and pharmacies, which is exactly why they are also the most commonly abused card in phone scams. If anyone has ever asked you to pay a bill, a fine or a debt with Apple gift cards, that was fraud — Apple says plainly that its cards are only for purchases from Apple. We will not knowingly buy a card obtained that way.

For a legitimate card, the question is simply whether you are inside the ecosystem. If you own the hardware and pay for storage or subscriptions, the balance will absorb itself over a few months at full value. If you do not — you are on Android, or you already own everything you need — there is no route at all, and converting the card to cash is the only way it becomes useful money.

You can check an Apple card balance through Apple's own balance page with the card number and PIN from the back of the card, or from the email if it is digital. That page requires the full code, which is also why it is worth checking before selling rather than after.

We verify every card before paying. If the balance comes back different from what you entered, you see the recalculated offer first. A dead card is rejected with a note explaining what came back, you keep it, and nothing is charged.

How to check your Apple balance

Check it on Apple's own site before you sell. You will need the full card number and the PIN — usually under a scratch-off strip on the back, or in the confirmation email for a digital card. Enter the balance here exactly as it reads.

Selling a Apple gift card: common questions

80% of the balance we verify with Apple. A $100.00 card pays $80.00 and a $250.00 card pays $200.00. The rate is flat — it does not improve with larger balances and it does not drop for smaller ones.

$10.00. Below that the payment processing costs more than the trade is worth to either of us. The most we take on a single Apple card is $2,000.00; if yours is larger, submit it as two cards.

PayPal and Cash App payments are initiated within 24 hours of you submitting the card, and often the same afternoon. A paper check takes 5 to 7 business days because it goes through the mail. The only thing standing between you and the money is the balance check.

We recalculate at the same 80% rate and show you the corrected offer before any money moves. If the new number does not work for you, say no and keep the card. People misremember balances constantly and it is not held against you.

Yes, and most of what we buy is partially used. A Apple card with $37.18 left is worth the same per dollar as a full one. Enter the exact remaining balance, down to the cents, as long as it is at least $10.00.
