We’re not buying Thrifty gift cards
We are not buying Thrifty cards at the moment, and it is worth being straight about why rather than leaving you guessing.
The reason
Thrifty does not issue gift cards, the same as the rest of the Hertz family, so there is nothing genuine for us to buy.
It is worth saying that this is not a judgement about the card being worthless to you. A Thrifty balance is still worth its full face value wherever it is accepted. The problem is specific to buying and reselling it, and that is a problem on our side rather than yours.
If you are holding one and want the value, the most reliable route is to spend it yourself, or to give it to somebody who will. If you would rather sell a different card, the brands below all pay up to 80% of the balance within 24 hours.
If Thrifty becomes buyable again we will say so. Leave an email address and you will hear about it the week it changes.
