We’re not buying National Car Rental gift cards
National Car Rental is one of the few things we turn down. Here is the actual reason.
The reason
National does not issue gift cards at all, so anything presented as one did not come from them.
This is a limitation of how the card works rather than anything to do with National Car Rental as a brand. Plenty of perfectly good cards are difficult to verify or resell, and we would rather turn one down than take it on and then dispute the balance with you afterwards.
Your best options are spending it, gifting it, or checking whether a card you already own is one we do buy. The six below are among the most common ones people sell to us.
That may change. Brands move on and off this list as their systems change, so if you want to know when National Car Rental reopens, leave your email and we will tell you rather than making you check back.
