We are not buying Dollar Rent A Car cards at the moment, and it is worth being straight about why rather than leaving you guessing.
The reason
Dollar does not issue gift cards at all, so anything presented as one did not come from them.
None of this means the card is a bad card. It means we cannot price it honestly and pay you quickly at the same time, and we would rather decline than quote you a number we might have to revise downwards after you have committed.
The practical advice is to use it or pass it on to someone who will. If you have other cards sitting around, the brands listed below are ones we buy today, at up to 80% of the balance.
