We’re not buying Budget Rent a Car gift cards
Budget Rent a Car is one of the few things we turn down. Here is the actual reason.
The reason
Budget sells no gift card, and the Avis certificate it shares a parent with cannot be balance-checked.
It is worth saying that this is not a judgement about the card being worthless to you. A Budget Rent a Car balance is still worth its full face value wherever it is accepted. The problem is specific to buying and reselling it, and that is a problem on our side rather than yours.
Your best options are spending it, gifting it, or checking whether a card you already own is one we do buy. The six below are among the most common ones people sell to us.
Nothing about this is permanent. Add your email and we will let you know if Budget Rent a Car comes back.
